Dedicated to S. Louis, this is the national church of the French in Rome. The façade was probably designed by Giacomo Della Porta between 1580 and 1584. The interior was decorated with marbles, paintings and stucco works. It contains Caravaggio’s works in the Baroque period and in the 18C.
