Hotel Traiano, Rome

The hotel was very convenient to lots of attractions. Staff were very helpful, it was all very clean and breakfast croissants were excellent. The view from the room was great.

'Juice' at breakfast was either squash or very very watered down; coffee was poor, especially given we were in a city that really does great coffee; fruit seemed to be tinned. The room was the smallest I've had at a hotel, especially given the cost band, and the bathroom was so small that the toilet had been squeezed in against a wall making it only useable at an angle! Rather odd design error. I would use this hotel again but not this room.

I would like to say that the hotel was fantastic. I stayed in room 302 and it was lovely. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Everyone spoke English. The breakfasts were very good. The location was magnificent. I would recommend this hotel. I had one of the best holidays ever and Rome was amazing.

I realize that Rome is a very expensive city to visit. I really didn't think the room we were in was very nice. The lobby and the breakfast room was very nice.

the position was excellent and so were the staff. Would like to have seen the bar open in the evening so that guests could mingle.

We found the room extremely dark and the bed is well past it's time - sagging and uncomfortable with bed springs coming through on many places. We were very disappointed with the level of comfort offered. The bathroom was also inadequate, with the shower head offering a very poor shower and the water was often not hot. Unfortunately, since we were active and out of the hotel during the day, the one thing we really wanted was a warm shower and a good bed for the end of the day, and this was not satisfactory at this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to others, no stay in it again.

Great location, and the building itself was really nice.

The main thing I look for in a hotel is a decent breakfast, but in Traiano the breakfast was terrible. No fresh bread or fruit and even the yogurt was poor. 4 star? Don't think so.....

Location,location,location, so close to just about everything you would want to see in Rome, we have stayed there before and would stay there again.

This is not a complaint, the breakfast was really nice, but a Scotsman likes heart attack breakfasts not continental!
