Hotel Genio, Rom

Das Hotel liegt äußerst günstig

Es ist sehr laut. Das Personal am Empfang ist nicht sehr freundlich und spricht kaum Deutsch.

Idéal pour découvrir Rome à pied.Excellente position centrale.Petit déjeuner copieux et personnel aimable.

Chambre propre faite tous les jours,mais la literie était sale sans protection ce qui est plus que moyen pour un 4 étoile.

The location was excellent! It's within walking distance of the Vatican, Colliseum, Forum, Spanish Steps, basically everything in central Rome. The breakfast buffet was quite extensive, not just rolls and coffee. It was a full meal. The room was clean and of reasonable size. It's not a hotel that you choose if you want to stay in your room, but rather you choose it because you want to see Rome.

Despite some electricity problems we had in our room (505) , the service of the personnel at the reception was very helpful and friendly. In particular we would mention Mr Juan Lucca who was exremely nice and kind. The location of the hotel is perfect and the rooms are fair (slightly small).

We did not like the bed. onsidering the standard of the hotel ,the bed is poor (Too soft,not orthopedic and divided in two pars at the middle.) Another point - Considering that you do not have kitchenon the evening and night , neither a bar- It could be very nice and helpful if you put a cattle of hot water in each room for tea and coffe. It is small investment and high value to the visitors.

Great experience and the location to sites of interest was very convenient. The hotel was recommended to us and we are recommending to others. The staff was very professional and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast and roof patio access was exceptional. A great view of Rome. Thanks for making our first trip to Rome so wonderful.

No manual for the aircondition , the resepthion missed the big taxi order to the airport

Very good breakfast meny. Everybody liked the mozzarella. Good to sit outsight with the view of Rome.

We loved loved loved the hotel. The view of the sun setting over the Roman skyline and watching the dome of St. Peter's light up was breath-taking. We looked forward to breakfast every morning, not just for the food, which was very good, but to sit on the patio rooftop and make our plans for the day. The rooftop was very well maintained, very clean! The room was very pretty and clean, the bathroom was also beautiful and clean.

Except for one younger gentleman who had just started there, the staff could be very rude. They were not fond of extending themselves beyond the required politeness. They were clearly put out with any requests that were unusual in the slightest. I am Italian, and am not experienced with Italians behaving in such a manner. Our elevator was out of order for 4 days out of the week we were there, and they didn't even offer a discount, let alone a kind word after we walked up and down repeatedly. In the end, I loved the hotel enough to overlook the staff...
